Silence Please...

It has been a while since the last update. Sorry guys. We have lots of daily works to be done and we do not have dedicated personnel to handle this blog.

Recently, some of you, our beloved patrons have created some problems for us. You should know that you are not supposed to making noise, discussing with friends with high tones and laughing so loud. Even after reminder are given every half and hour from librarians on duty, you guys stop talking in 5 minutes and back to your "business'. You come to the library to study and not to socializing. You should behave and respect us.

We have been constantly bombarded with accusation of not doing our tasks in controlling the noise level. What actually happened? We have been scolded and some of you acted like we are a joker, you guys laughing at us when we try to ask you to be silent. When we ask you to leave the library, you said, you have the right to stay in the library because you pay the fees. But please understand, library is a place for studying and not for making fun of others or making noise.

Please...even when you are in the cafeteria area, your voice can be heard downstairs so please tone down your voice while chit chatting in the cafeteria.

Some of the students understand their duty and also our duty to manage the library but for some of you that are a little bit naughty, please behave yourself and respects your college mate who wanted to study in peace.


While coming out from the computer labs, please stop from discussing or laughing because your acts are disturbing other library patrons.
